Meet Ashley Tobosa, one of our Contact Center Team Leads! While Ashley first started her journey at Kitsap Credit Union in 2018 as a teller at our South Kitsap branch, a year into her position, her family was relocated. “Upon receiving military orders to return to Kitsap a few years later, I was certain that I would be rejoining KCU, drawn back by its culture of prioritizing people,” Ashley said. In 2021, Ashley returned to the team as a Contact Center Associate and worked her way up to a specialist position, and ultimately Team Lead!

“The most fulfilling aspect of my role is the opportunity to serve as a coach and mentor to my team members,” said Ashely, “Engaging in the mentorship process allows me to guide individuals through their professional journeys, sharing insights and knowledge gained through my own experiences. Encouraging and empowering each team member to realize their full potential not only cultivates a culture of shared growth and success but also establishes an environment where individual achievements contribute to the collective prosperity of the entire team.”
Ashley’s colleagues note that her positive attitude and can-do spirit make it easy to come to work. Her manager shared, “Ashley shows up to work daily on purpose. She seeks to ensure our members and team members feel welcomed and taken care of. She pushes back on the status quo, asking how we can be better as a team and a credit union. Ashley is sought out by peers, team members and management! She is kind and compassionate all while getting the job done! She truly is an asset to our Contact Center.”
When asked what her favorite part of working at Kitsap Credit Union, Ashley said, “I appreciate the organization’s active engagement within the community. The close connections with the people and the diverse membership are aspects of Kitsap Credit Union that I particularly value and believe set it apart.”
