Nope, not the original animated flick from 1967, we’re recommending the 2018 release. This movie features a grumpy Grinch who plots to ruin Christmas for the village of Whoville.

Rudolph The Red–Nosed Reindeer

A childhood classic, this animated, heart-warming movie was released in 1964. Starring one of Santa’s unique reindeers, it teaches young and old alike to accept and rejoice in their own special qualities and attributes.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

A quirky but much-loved choice, this dark, musical and animated film was released in 1993. Bored with Halloween, Jack Skellington is accidentally transported to “Christmas Town,” where he develops a fascination with the holiday.


A very funny, family flick starring the charming Will Ferrell, this comedy was released in 2003. Chocked full of Christmas cheer, the story follows human elf Buddy, who was raised by Santa’s elves.

Die Hard

This explosive film is set in Los Angeles during the holiday season in 1988. It stars Bruce Willis as a police detective, who goes to see his estranged wife. Instead he becomes embroiled in a terrorist attack.

Home Alone
