This Sunday, September 22, 2024, is National Eat Local Day, a great way to support your favorite local spot or to drop in and try somewhere new. We’re celebrating by recognizing a local business that will delight your tastebuds, meet Harbor Haute Dogs!

Harbor Haute Dogs specializes in high-end sausages and ingredients and creates unique flavor combinations that you’ve likely never tried before. “We are the premier hot dog and sausage restaurant on the Kitsap Peninsula,” said Alex Marshall, Co-Owner of Harbor Haute Dogs. “What sets us apart from other businesses in our community is that we focus on amazing customer service and high-quality ingredients. Some of our sausages are even made locally, and we like to use and sell other locally made products.”

Established in 2021, Harbor Haute Dogs has a storefront located in Port Orchard as well as 2 mobile units used for catering. Alex and Co-Owner, Guy Storz value the relationship they have built in the community, “We love being a part of this community,” said Alex. “When COVID hit Port Orchard, Kitsap County really came out to support us and so we want to give back as best we can with amazing food and a great experience. National Eat Local Day is important to us because we love eating local all the time and supporting other small businesses.”

At Kitsap Credit Union, we strive to offer support and solutions for local businesses like Harbor Haute Dogs, “We love banking with Kitsap Credit Union,” Alex said. “They are fast and supportive, and we love that we can talk to someone face to face with any question we have. We would highly recommend Kitsap Credit Union to other businesses for the same reasons.”
