May’s Sticker of the Month is here!

This month’s sticker features the Olympic Peninsula’s iconic Tree of Life conceptualized by our Outreach Coordinator, David Inglish, and designed by our Creative Director, Bryan Flynn.

We talked with Bryan to learn more about this month’s sticker. Here’s what he said:

“We knew we wanted to use an iconic Washington State landmark for the May sticker,” said Bryan. “The Tree of Life and many other fun sticker ideas were conceptualized by David, but I was drawn to the Tree of Life when I saw it on the list. I understand the passion that people have for this landmark and understood how they would appreciate paying homage to it. It truly is one of Washington’s natural wonders.”

“This iconic sitka spruce located in the Olympic National Park on the Washington coast near Kalaloch, has been dubbed the “Tree of Life.” This tree defies nature by precariously growing over a stream between two cliff walls with its root system fully exposed,” he explained. “It has survived many powerful coastal storms that often bring down its neighbors. The Tree of Life’s ability to grow despite the conditions and its continued resilience demonstrates the Power of Possibilities.”

Having grown up on the Olympic Peninsula, this design was close to Bryan’s heart, “I’m very proud to create images for our team and members that they recognize and appreciate,” he said. “This institution has provided so many people in our communities with the opportunities they need to grow in their financial lives. Just as the Tree of Life exemplifies, Kitsap Credit Union wholeheartedly believes in the Power of Possibilities. This is echoed in our value proposition “Powering Life’s Opportunities” and our brand-line “Together it’s Possible.” This sticker is a great reminder of those values.”
