Board of Directors – Nomination by Petition Process:
The Board Governance Committee annually nominates Kitsap Credit Union members to fill expiring Board Member terms. Additional nominations for the Board of Director terms may be made by petition. Ballots will be mailed to all members in February of each year, if nominees are received by petition.
If no nominations by petition are received, a mail ballot election will not be necessary. In accordance with the Kitsap Credit Union Bylaws, nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting in March 2020 will not be entertained.
How to Nominate By Petition:
The nomination by petition must contain the signatures, printed names, and addresses of at least 5,000 qualified voting Kitsap Credit Union members. Completed nominations must also include required forms available through our Administration Department at 155 Washington Avenue, Bremerton, Washington. These forms include: a Candidate Application, brief statement of qualifications and biographical data; the Statement of Consent; agreement to serve if elected; and Statement of Disclosure. The petition and signed forms must reach the Secretary of the Board of Directors, Kitsap Credit Union, P.O. Box 990, Bremerton, WA 98337, no later than November 1, 2019.
